Hopefully, the last of the Christmas presents made its way into my home today. I opened the mailbox to discover a red SWISS COLONY box underneath my bills. It was from my brother. My only sibling who knows I am losing weight. He's in New York and I am in Oregon so we don't see much of each other. It was an easy gift for him to click and send... not thinking about the fact that WE ARE IMPROVING OUR HEALTH. I brought the box in and opened it to discover it was full of Bon Bons. Seriously... Bon Bons. I ate one. The kids grabbed a few. The box sat on the desk the rest of the afternoon. This evening I was getting ready to go to the gym with a friend and that box of Bon Bons was staring at me- all of their little snowman eyes were pleading for me to embrace them with my salivating mouth.Right next to the box was a can of Endust. I grabbed the dusting spray and saturated the SOB's.
This ain't playtime. Mama's got holiday weight to lose.

I got a lovely box of chocolates from a colleague which I promptly took to the kitchen at the office and poof! they were gone by the end of the day. I walk into the office yesterday - it's the SAME box of chocolates - apparently she gave several boxes to the worker bees at corporate and now everyone wants to share. Aggghhhh...I kept glancing at them but resisted. I think your brother just wasn't thinking or he was thinking Amy likes chocolate or something. Most men are at a loss when it comes to buying gifts for women...Great use for the Endust tho...

GREAT move with the Endust! I'll have to rememember that. I've thrown things away and have actually gotten them back out (I know, ewww, gross. But they were still in wrappers or bags).

Hello! Just found your blog - love it! The Endust made me chuckle. Going to have to remember this one as dousing with water doesn't always work :-)
That is a fantastic idea. We got some See's candies, several boxes and vowed not to open them. My mom took them to Mexico with her to give to the Mexican boarder guards. They like stuff like that where as the guards on the U.S. side think my mom is trying to blow them up with candy bombs.
