Wow! That's fantastic!! I know exactly what you mean about belts. I next to never wear them either. Thanks for sharing your blog with me. I am inspired by your success and look forward to seeing you at the gym and to us both reaching our goals! It's a great life and ought to be one fantastic summer. Best! Christine
Oh, my gosh - isn't that exciting? I still hate them, but I hated them more when I was 2o pounds heavier than I am now. The back would slide up over my butt, and the front would cut into my gut. I often stare at those adorable thin belts at the store and think "I think my belly would completely hide that itty bitty thing". Merry Christmas, and congratulations!!
Thanks for the comments, ladies! Amy Jo, your comment about your belly hiding the belt made me laugh... it's what I had always thought about myself in a thong: with my enormous butt & my gut, my poor husband would think I was just standing there, naked. LOL!
It's the little things that make me happy & help me to realize the changes- like a belt. WOO HOO!!
Hi Lauren! Love Your Blog! Looking for inspiration and I found it! Great sense of humor & looking forward to following your journey! All the pumpkin bread went to my belly - oh but it was good, and now I have to move forward out of fat, carb, and sugar land...back to eating right for the healthy me - I like that quote too...choose your HARD...so true!
amy, where do you go to work out? definately would love too!!!! glad you stopped by on my blog! i haven't done much, just exercised as much as i can, and cut out sweets including soda. and it's just started to come off. it was weird. but great!
Julie~ I've been called Lauren a million times... I'm rather fond of Lauren (my daughter) so I consider it a compliment! : ) Thanks for cruising my blog~ Glad to have you here!!
And "Miss K"... I workout at the National Fitness gym at Washburn/Crosby. Email me at laurenscloset@gmail.com if you ever want to meet me over there! I was a HUGE "regular" soda drinker before starting this & I think just quitting that crap will make the weight fall off, for sure. You're YOUNG. I'm guessing you have no kids... (mine are adopted so I don't even have the good ole' pregnancy excuse) So you can just BUCKLE DOWN & BUST THIS WEIGHT LOSS THING OUT. Then I'll be attending YOUR wedding reception & bitchin' to strangers about my cake intake.
