Oh NOOOOOooooooooooooo......................

I received the letter in the mail, yesterday. They are having an official "Cookie Kickoff." That's right- a party to celebrate my demise. My sweet little Lauren will be innocently donning her official Daisy uniform, like a tiny calorie soldier, and unknowingly peddle the very thing that tears at my soul. Girl. Scout. Cookies. Thin Mints. Samoas. And I thought Christmas was hard. The enemy, boxes upon boxes of cookies, is moving into my living room. And my very own daughter will be representing them with a blue smock, an order form, and an irresistible smile.

I'll be having a xanax with my protein bar for breakfast this morning.

oh how I needed a good laugh. Thank goodness they only have crappy girl guide cookies here in canada or I'd have the same problem. Thin Mints and Samoas are the devil!

I don't have a problem staying away from the "fake" cookies - it's homemade goodies that are my downfall.

Good luck to you as you exert your extraordinary willpower!

Oh noooooo! It's bad enough having the cookie pushers at every grocery store, but to have one in the family. BE STRONG!!!! BE VERY STRONG!!!!

Being that I read the recent post on your new uses for pledge... I would say that you might want to stop by Target and pick up a few bottles! Ha! That made me laugh... Pledge!

Be strong. I just thought about the coconut/caramel/chocolate kind and felt really sorry for you... Really, can't they start selling oranges and workout videos?

Last year I bought a box of the lemon cookies. After they were gone I panicked and made some phone calls to my contacts to find out who knew someone who was selling the girl scout cookies. I ended up at a strangers doorstep to buy thin mints, samoas, and lemon cookies. It almost felt like a drug deal. Going up to some ladies house and standing on her front porch with cash in hand asking "Do you got the cookies?" I knew I had a problem. I am in recovery now. I will not look those cute little girls in the eye, and just keep walking. Or better yet, I'll just make a flat donation and tell them to keep their cookies:)! Good luck to Lauren with the selling!
