Pipe down... I haven't forgotten...

What's been going on? I wish I had more to report... The Golden Globes were last night & The Bachelor is on tonight so I. AM. BUSY. Okay, not that busy and I do have Tivo so what's my excuse? I've not been doling out the Blogger Love lately and for that, I apologize. Believe it or not, there are times I don't have much to say. Unless you're the @ss wipe who I passed the other day when I was running errands. I was in the turn lane (so I was OBVIOUSLY turning, left) and he was going straight. He pulled up beside my car, slowly, and motioned for me to roll my window down. I did & he said "your turn signal isn't working" and since I was caught off guard I said "oh... thanks..." as I was driving away. Then I realized he was chastising me for not having my turn signal on & I went from being appreciative to wanting to hunt him down and ram the side of his "rig" with my Toyota mini van. I crack myself up, driving a mini van. I was jamming out to "Rage Against the Machine" the other day while Corbin was sitting in his car seat, shaking his booty. When I was 20 & doing some serious dancing in the clubs I would have never imagined THAT moment. I was too cool, back then. Now I'm too cool, in my mini van.

I DIGRESS. Weight loss... weight loss... Okay~ I'm back. Things are going well! I have still been working out with Nikki & I think I'll post some new "Before Nikki/Today" pics by the end of this month to see how my shape is changing. I ran across a paper the other day that was dated 12/5/08 and my weight was 195. Today it's 194. I'm really sick of the 190's and am so ready to move on. I've even started running on the treadmill a little because I've heard that running WILL get the weight off. What will the 180's feel like? And then the 170's? Will I be able to stand myself? Will the people around me be able to take it?? (Internet, you have no idea how obnoxious I am.)

TOMORROW is weigh in day. I'll be back to let you all know the latest number. Until then, here's a photo tip:

Always make sure that anyone who takes your picture is standing well ABOVE you. The angle gives you a lovely jaw line.
(Eric is so well trained, he stands on a chair for me. I'm a lucky gal.)

I wait in anticipation for tomorrow's numbers, 193, 192, I don't know, the anticipation is killing me....
Anyway, I know what your talking about. Last year I was on the bypass and I had to slow down because a deer was in the road. A couple of guys in the car next to me started flipping me off and telling me I was crazy for slowing down on the bypass. Apparently, they didn't see the deer. I haven't felt that mad in years! I pulled up next to them for the next 100 yards gesturing for them to roll down their window so I could tell them what I thought of their gestures. Apparently I was somewhat scarey in my mini-van and they wouldn't do it. What a bunch of pansies!

Oh my GOSH Molly, that made me laugh. Eric even said "that's a new image of Molly, for me- chasing down some guys in a mini van." LOL! Let me tell you (and since you know me in REAL life, I'm sure you can picture this) I will follow any little smart driver into a parking lot in a hot minute & school them about driving etiquette. Which is why I will end up getting shot by some lunatic one day. Something about being a mama in a mini van can make you very empowered AND cranky. Bad combination.

I would give anything to be in the 190's if that makes you feel any better. I'm going down slowly, but all I'm eating is shrimp, hummus, and veggies. (I guess I can't complain!) You are, however, very lovely at 190ish, and I will have to be far below that weight to get lovely!

Amy, do you take your measurements? Although you're only one pound lower than you were a month ago I bet your measurements have changed.

I want to invent a blinking electronic sign for my car that I can have many phrases to choose from. I want to be able to REALLY tell the other drivers what I think of their driving ability and rude driving etiquette. Since the sign doesn't exist I still let them know but only the unfortunate people in my own car get to hear it.

KiKi~ I HAVE done measurements! As a matter of fact, when Nikki started working with me she did a LOT of measurements, more then I had ever done. (like calves, forearms) So when I post NEW body pics the end of this month I'll include those measurements. Unless I'm bigger and mushy-er... then I'll pretend this conversation never happened... : )

Ok, ok, you twisted my arm. Not only are we on a weight loss quest (I hate you, you weigh 4 lbs. less than me) but, you are right, we could be BFF. Thanks for finding me!
